Canine Massage
Massage therapy is an ancient healing art which has been practiced since
before recorded history. The past decades have seen a resurgence of this
therapy, both for humans and more recently for animals.
Is Massage Right for My Pet
Therapeutic massage for dogs has similar benefits as massage for humans. Canine
Massage focuses on the normalization of soft tissue through the use of hands-on
techniques. As with humans, canine massage helps maintain good health. It
positively impacts every system of the dog's body, from the circulatory to the
nervous systems. Massage helps increase range of motion, enhances muscle
function, reduces muscle tension, increases circulation of the blood and lymph
throughout the body and flushes body toxins.

Massage has benefits for all, from dogs with arthritis,
recovering from surgery, the elderly, to high flying agility
stars and service dogs.

Massage helps relieve pain,
stiffness, discomfort (especially in
arthritic dogs) and decreases
recovery time after surgery. It
increases muscle tone, flexibility
and circulation.
Massage
combined with Energy Therapy

not only assists the physical
structure but supports the energy
structures within and surrounding
the body restoring the natural
harmony and balance of the
recipient.
