| When I started writing for this web site, I had a very different idea about the things I would write about. There is so much to explain about lofty ideals and through enlightenment. There are those out there that can write about these things beautifully and pontificate flawlessly. I wanted to write pretty and inspiring stories about love and communication with animals. Much to my dismay, Spirit has told me with great insistence to "Tell it like it is, or was." The way I learned to communicate with animals was not pretty. It was full of twists and turns and bumps on the head. Maybe if I had sat cross-legged draped in white in front of a self proclaimed master things would be different. Not many people get to learn life and it's ways like that. I surely did not get that opportunity. Sometimes people envision psychics, channelers, communicators and the like as somehow different from your average Joe. We are not. We don't walk around in white tunics with bluebirds perched on our shoulders and rose petal fluttering around us. We are just like everyone else- everyone human. We laugh, we cry, we make mistakes, some tell dirty jokes, some drink, some smoke, some have affairs, some are fat, some are skinny, and if you met one of us in the grocery store, you'd never know the difference. We have the same talents and abilities as every other human being on this planet. Some of us are just more "aware" then others just like some people can play an instrument better than other people. If you never tried to play the piano, how do you know you can't play? Anyway, the stories that follows are true. Some are happy, some are sad, some are pretty, some are not and some are my ponderings. I make no apologies for them or my life. Sometimes life is offensive and sometimes the truth hurts but through it all there is a reason and a plan for everything. If I can help just one person or one animal with this, then it is sooo worth it. … |
